چکیده
End-fire arrays have broader beam-width in compare with broadside arrays and they are less directive. In order to enhance end-fire array characteristics without destroying any other characteristics, a new modification on end-fire array was proposed by Hansen and Woodyard to improve the directivity of the ordinary end-fire arrays. The arrays designed by this new method are known as Hansen-Woodyard arrays.
